Galatasaray demands at least 35 million euros to sell Davinson Sanchez to Italy's Como
Galatasaray has effectively shut the door on negotiations over the departure of defender Davinson Sanchez to Italy's Como after the Turkish club informed the Italian side it would not accept any offer below 35 million euros, even though Como has already reached an agreement with the player himself.
Italian club Como continues its efforts to sign Galatasaray's Colombian defender Davinson Sanchez, one of the most talked-about names in the current transfer market, amid lengthy negotiations that have yet to produce the desired progress with the Turkish club.
According to the available information, Como has reached an agreement with the player himself on personal terms, but efforts to convince Galatasaray's management have not yet produced a result, as the Turkish club's board, which is under heavy pressure in this transfer window, has made its final position clear.
Sources close to Galatasaray's management said the club has effectively closed the door on negotiations by setting an explicit minimum threshold, with the board rejecting any offer below 35 million euros.
Davinson Sanchez, 30, remains under contract with Galatasaray for three more years, meaning that completing the deal under the current conditions would require Como to raise its offer substantially. The Colombian defender's future therefore remains tied to the Italian club's willingness to submit a new bid that satisfies the Turkish management.
