This page explains how we choose, edit, and correct our news, where AI begins and where its responsibility ends before human review — alongside your legal rights to correction and reply, and our registered publisher information (masthead).

Editorial standards

AI and human review

We use AI for summarising, ranking, and translation assistance, but no content reaches the reader without a human editor’s review. Every article carries a clear label of how it was produced:

• Human-edited — written or edited by a journalist.
• Machine-translated · human-reviewed — a Turkish original machine-translated, then reviewed by an editor.
• Human + AI assist — human writing with the help of AI tools.

Raw automated content, before human review, is neither indexed nor promoted — to protect the quality of what we deliver.

Corrections & right of reply

We correct our mistakes transparently. If you spot a factual error, or you are a concerned party wishing to exercise the right of reply (tekzip) under Turkish law, contact us via the contact page stating the article link and what you request to correct or reply to. We review every serious request and respond within a reasonable time.

Legal governance (5651)

We comply with Turkish electronic-publishing law No. 5651. When a lawful blocking or removal request arrives from the competent authority (BTK) or a court ruling, we handle it within the legal deadline; the content in question may be withdrawn and replaced with a transparent notice that it was withdrawn — no silent disappearance.
