Türkiye exports the Advent battle management system for the first time to a NATO country
The Turkish company Havelsan exported the local naval battle management system “Advent” for the first time to NATO member Romania as part of a frigate deal, after previously exporting it to eight countries from different continents.
The Turkish company HAVELSAN exported the indigenous naval battle management system “ADVENT” for the first time to a NATO member state, as part of the sale of an “Ada-class” frigate to Romania.
Under the contract, the system will be used by the Romanian Navy Command on board the exported ship, adding a new achievement for the Turkish defense industry after it was previously exported to Pakistan. Indonesia, Ukraine, Qatar, Oman, Nigeria, Malaysia, and Chile.
This is the first entry of the Advent system into the arsenal of a NATO ally.
