Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Qassem Gharibabadi responded to US President Donald Trump’s threats to launch new strikes against Iran, saying: “The murderous Trump must be spoken to in a language he understands — the language of force.”
Gharibabadi published his comment on Iran’s account on the Better [than the language of dialogue].”
Trump’s threats were made in Ankara on the sidelines of the 36th NATO summit, where the US President said: “We hit Iran hard last night, and we will probably hit Iran very hard this evening as well.”
Trump explained that Iran’s military capabilities were “destroyed within a few weeks,” and that the runways at Iranian airports were “destroyed” and “their leaders were removed.”
The Iranian response comes amid continued military escalation. Between Tehran and Washington, days after the start of the mutual attacks on February 28.
