Turkish and American defense companies meet in Ankara on the sidelines of the NATO summit
A defense industry cooperation roundtable between Türkiye and the United States was held in Ankara with the participation of the Turkish Deputy Defense Minister and high-ranking American officials, along with major companies such as Lockheed Martin and Havelsan.
The Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Council (DEİK), the Turkish-American Business Council, and the American Chamber of Commerce in Turkey organized a round table for cooperation in the Turkish-American defense industries, on the occasion of the 36th NATO Summit, in Ankara on July 7.
The Turkish Deputy Minister of Defense, Salih Ayhan, and the US Undersecretary of Defense for Military Supply and Procurement, Michael Duffy, participated in the meeting, along with the heads of the Turkish-American economic councils and representatives.
