Israel: We are ready to strike Iran alone... and major operations await us
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz and Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir announced Israel's readiness to launch unilateral air strikes against Iran, stressing that major operations are still expected, while American strikes continue on areas near the Strait of Hormuz.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said, during a graduation ceremony in the Israeli Air Force, that the Israeli army is ready to carry out unilateral air strikes against Iran without American participation.
Katz reiterated Israel’s continued occupation of southern Lebanon, saying: “We did not ask for permission from anyone to enter Lebanon, and we do not need permission to stay there,” adding that their forces will remain in southern Lebanon and will continue to carry out strikes when needed until Hezbollah disarms.
For his part, Israeli Army Chief of Staff General Eyal said. Zamir, in his speech during the same ceremony, said that the army is closely following developments in both Iran and Lebanon, and confirmed the completion of preparations to launch an immediate strike against Iran.
Zamir added that the attacks on Iran have not ended yet, saying: “We have new plans that we are working on. We still have major operations ahead of us that we expect. Be prepared.”
Israeli media reported that the Israeli army is intensifying its preparations to confront any possible response from Tehran or Lebanon, following the massive American air strikes that targeted Iran. On Wednesday evening.
Yesterday evening, the US army targeted areas near the Iranian Strait of Hormuz, following US President Donald Trump’s threat to launch a new attack on Iran.
