Turkish fresh fruit and vegetable exports exceed $2.35 billion in a record high in the first half
Turkish fresh fruit and vegetable exports recorded a record high in the first half of 2026 at a value of $2.35 billion, an increase of more than 39% over last year, with citrus topping the list of exported products and Iraq as the largest export market.
According to data from the Turkish Exporters Council (TİM), exports of the fresh fruit and vegetable sector during the first six months of the year amounted to 2 billion 353 million 915 thousand dollars.
The total amount exported of fresh fruits and vegetables during the same period amounted to 1 million 722 thousand and 572 tons.
Export revenues increased from 1 billion 690 million 579 thousand dollars in the same period last year to 2.35 million tons. billion dollars this year, exceeding the level of $2 billion for the first time during the January-June period.
