An exclusive report by CNN International revealed that recent satellite images of the Patchin facility, linked to Iran's secret nuclear programme, show the start of reconstruction activities in the area.

The images, taken during June and July, show gradual restoration work on the protective concrete structures that had been damaged in US and Israeli raids that used bunker-buster bombs, as the resulting bomb craters were covered with temporary covers before Moving to permanent restoration work, with concrete mixing trucks heading to the site.

CNN correspondent Katie Polglise said that the restrictions imposed on photographing the area with satellites have long been in place, but the recent easing of these restrictions has allowed cleaning and restoration work to be monitored in Iran’s priority sites.

The developments are not limited to the Pachin facility, as military vehicles were spotted entering and exiting tunnels in the “Koh Kazma” mountain underground facility that Iran built, which brought it back to the forefront. The controversy over the extent of Tehran’s commitment to the memorandum of understanding signed in June.
